Police report against another Klang councillor over support letters

KLANG: Another Klang Municipal Councillor appears to have landed in hot soup for allegedly issuing support letters to get contracts for her family member.

Kapar MCA division chief Datuk Song Kee Chai on Wednesday accused Hamidah Mat Sum, who was appointed on a PKR ticket, of issuing at least four letters since 2009 to help her husband, Jan Sakimah to secure contracts from MPK.

After making the accusation at a press conference, Song lodged a report against Hamidah at the South Klang district police headquarters.

Song said he would be going to the Selangor Malaysian Anti Commission later to lodge another report.

Hamidah was not available comment.
